YouTube SEO Specialist & Video Editor

Role & responsibilities

YouTube SEO:

• Conduct keyword and trend research using tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, Google Trends, and Ahrefs.
• Optimize video metadata including titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags, and thumbnails for search visibility.
• Plan and implement content strategies based on SEO trends and competitor analysis.
• Optimize channel layout, playlists, About section, and video cards/end screens to boost engagement and retention.
• Track and report on key metrics (views, CTR, watch time, audience retention) via YouTube Analytics and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes and adjust optimization strategies accordingly.

Video Editing:

• Edit raw footage into engaging, polished videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Add motion graphics, subtitles, sound design, and other enhancements to improve viewer engagement.
• Ensure brand consistency, pacing, and format are optimized for YouTube standards and audience expectations.
• Create YouTube Shorts, intro/outro sequences, and other video assets.
• Work closely with content creators, writers, and marketers to bring ideas from script to screen.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience growing a successful YouTube channel & Instagram.
• Knowledge of video compression, formats, codecs, and export settings optimized for YouTube & Maintaining Instagram .
• Postings reels with content related Hashtags in Youtube & Instagram.
• Understanding of copyright guidelines and fair use in video editing.
• Familiarity with social video platforms (Instagram Reels, etc.) is a bonus.
• Growth in subscribers and watch time.
• Excellent storytelling, pacing, and post-production skills.
• Basic graphic design knowledge (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.
• Improved video SEO ranking and organic traffic
• Higher click-through rate (CTR) on thumbnails and titles
