The Counselor will work directly with students, guiding and advising them on academic, personal, and career-related matters. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, supporting students in developing their strengths and setting goals, and providing insights into academic choices and career options. The role also involves collaborating with other staff, maintaining records of student interactions, and creating initiatives to promote student well-being and success. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective counseling and guidance. Proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and critical thinking. Empathy and active listening capabilities to provide student-friendly support. Experience in educational or career counseling and familiarity with academic or career planning tools. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality of student information. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Relevant certifications in counseling or psychology are an advantage. Prior experience in academic or student counseling is a plus.
