Founding Backend Engineer – Yoshi About Yoshi Yoshi is the first seedless Bitcoin wallet: no seed phrases, no hardware hassle, no custodial risk. We utilize Bitcoin-native MPC to deliver sovereign-grade security with everyday usability, allowing users to set up in seconds and trust their Bitcoin for life. We’re hiring a Founding Backend Engineer to build the backend foundations of Yoshi—think Robinhood-like speed and polish, applied to Bitcoin. What You’ll Do Build low-latency APIs and real-time services for instant sends, swaps, and approvals Own backend partner integrations (Turnkey, OneBalance, etc.) Design and maintain a resilient ledger and state machine for money movement Implement a policy engine for approvals, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts Ensure performance, reliability, and observability across production systems --- What We’re Looking For 5+ years building backend systems at scale Strong skills in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin Experience with async I/O, queues, retries, state machines Database expertise (Postgres, Redis) and modeling for consistency Track record of owning systems end-to-end (from design to production) work from Hyderabad Bonus: experience with crypto custody/MPC, Bitcoin UTXOs, or fintech/payment systems.
