Yoga Faculty

Role and Responsibilities

The individual joining the faculty as a Yoga Instructor will be expected to fulfill the following list of responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Lead engaging and dynamic Yoga sessions that introduce students to fundamentals of Yoga.
• Provide clear and concise instructions, demonstrations and modifications to accommodate students with varying levels of experience, flexibility and physical ability.
• Participate in departmental and university activities actively.
• Address queries of the students, mentor and guide them.

Collaborate with Department and University staff to integrate yoga into interdisciplinary programs, events and initiatives promoting holistic health and wellness.

Qualifications and Education Requirements (Any 1)

• M.A./M.Sc – Yoga

• B.A./B.Sc – Yoga

Certified Yoga Instructor with a minimum of 200-Hour course with 2 years of teaching experience.
