The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for executing test cases, conducting manual testing, ensuring quality assurance processes are followed, and performing comprehensive software testing. The individual in this role will closely work with developers and project managers to identify and resolve issues, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and devices. Identify, document, and track bugs through Jira or similar tools. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features. Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing. Ensure products meet quality standards and compliance requirements before deployment. Suggest process improvements and actively contribute to the QA best practices. Create and maintain testing documentation and QA metrics. Key Skills Required: Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Appium, or similar. Proficient in writing SQL queries to validate data. Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting in Python/Java/JavaScript is a plus. Experience testing APIs and using tools like Swagger, Postman. ISTQB or other QA certification (optional but preferred).
