Patient Care & Monitoring Conduct regular rounds and assess the condition of admitted patients. Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and progress notes in patient files. Ensure timely administration of prescribed medications and treatments. Coordination with Doctors & Nursing Staff Assist Consultants and Specialists during patient examinations and procedures. Communicate consultant instructions clearly to the nursing and support staff. Update patient health status to senior doctors regularly. Emergency & Critical Care Duties Attend to medical emergencies within the ward promptly. Ensure immediate stabilization and initiate emergency treatment protocols. Documentation & Reports Properly maintain patient case sheets, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Ensure accurate and complete medical records as per hospital standards. Patient & Family Communication Explain treatment plans and health status to patients and relatives politely and professionally. Handle concerns and escalate issues if needed. Compliance & Safety Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols. Ensure ethical medical practice and patient confidentiality at all times.
