Job Description & Summary We are seeking a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of valuation methodologies to work closely with our M&A, Consulting & Valuation teams across Asia. The role focuses on conducting valuation analysis as well as support M&A processes for a wide range of public and private entities across various industries, utilizing globally recognized approaches. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects spanning multiple geographies and industries, contributing directly to critical business decisions. The candidate will also gain valuable exposure to client engagements, financial modelling, and business development initiatives. What You'll Do Conduct valuation analyses on public and private entities using approaches such as discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, and , other valuation techniques (e.g., comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) Design and construct financial models for various valuation methodologies, including DCF, market transactions, and option pricing analysis Prepare detailed valuation reports as per regulatory requirements and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders Manage client engagements, including daily client interactions, and timely project execution Gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations; use advanced storyboarding, excel, and visualization skills & support business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and publications Collaborate with internal teams to build and maintain strong client relationships Identify & communicate potential engagements to internal/external management Demonstrate the ability to understand trends in industry, and relate them to business objectives Demonstrate and apply strong knowledge of consulting frameworks Qualifications Qualified CA with 1-3 years of experience in constructing and reviewing valuation models such as DCF, comparable company, stock option valuation, intangible asset valuation etc. Preferred Candidates having IVCP, Equity Research and Valuation Course from NSE, CVA from ACVA, CMA, CFA (Level 2/3 completed) preferred Prior experience in financial statements analysis and valuation techniques preferred Prior experience in working with paid market research databases and financial databases (such as Capital IQ, Orbis, Euromonitor, SPEEDA etc.) as well as MS Application package preferred Prior experience in financial statements analysis and valuation techniques preferred spanning multiple industries including real estate Ability to develop high-quality deliverables with limited input Strong business acumen; ability to connect the dots to draw meaningful insights for the business Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation to senior leaders Experience working with virtual teams and senior leadership; can hold a conversation beyond work to build rapport in a virtual environment Ability to juggle many competing priorities/ deadlines Proficiency in Japanese language (Business level) is an advantage
