About Us Scribble Labs ( Ya Labs ) is a healthcare startup building innovative AI-powered solutions for post acute care (home health). Our web and mobile apps leverage cutting-edge AI to help clinicians be more productive, while delivering high quality care to patients in their homes. We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our team and help develop new features for our product. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML pipelines for NLP, voice models, and LLM-based workflows. Fine-tune and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) for domain-specific use cases. Train custom models on proprietary datasets and optimize them for production use. Work with voice/speech models (ASR, transcription, embeddings). Implement scalable RAG pipelines , including chunking strategies and retrieval systems using vector databases. Prepare, clean, and manage datasets for training and evaluation. Work with AWS cloud infrastructure for deploying and scaling AI solutions. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build AI-driven features. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards. Research and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques. Required Skills & Experience Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (4–6 years professional experience). AI/ML: Expertise in LLM fine-tuning , voice/speech models , RAG implementations with chunking , dataset preparation & cleaning , embedding models , vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.). Frameworks: Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow , LangChain / LlamaIndex (or similar). Cloud: Hands-on with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway). Databases: Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases. MLOps: Model deployment, monitoring, and optimization in production environments. Best Practices: Strong understanding of software engineering (Git, CI/CD, testing, scaling). Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Knowledge of healthcare standards (EHR/EMR workflows, structured assessments). Experience with data privacy & security in regulated industries. Familiarity with prompt engineering and instruction tuning . Prior experience in healthtech AI products . Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field. 5–6 years of relevant industry experience, with a focus on NLP, speech/voice AI, and LLM solutions.
