Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a PLC Programmer, located at our Chakan facility. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, and testing PLC systems for automated machinery and equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing PLC-based control systems, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting system diagnostics, and maintaining detailed documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards will also be an important aspect of the role. Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming languages, including Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Structured Text Strong experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) design and integration Knowledge of control systems and automation hardware, such as sensors, actuators, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) Skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing industrial automation systems Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Working experience with communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry is a plus
