Experience Level: 2+ Years Department: Business Development Reports To: Chief Sales Officer Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales and growth in our cybersecurity products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and positioning our cybersecurity solutions to BFSI, New Age Companies. Key Responsibilities 1.Sales & Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities in cybersecurity solutions, including network security, endpoint security, cloud security and threat intelligence. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and referrals. Conduct sales presentations and demos for clients to showcase cybersecurity solutions. Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and create compelling proposals for potential clients. 2.Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CISOs, IT Heads, CTOs, CIOs). Conduct regular account management activities to drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. 3.Market & Industry Analysis Stay updated with industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and evolving technologies. Identify competitive threats and develop counter-strategies. Provide insights on market demands and customer pain points to internal teams for product/service improvement. 4.Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with marketing, and product / technical teams to develop sales strategies. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates to senior management. Represent the company at cybersecurity conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Key Requirements: Education & Experience Bachelors degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development in the cybersecurity or IT solutions space. Technical & Sales Skills Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, SOC, identity & access management, cloud security, etc.). Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a cybersecurity or IT solutions company. Experience in selling to enterprise clients and New Age Companies, mid-market organizations. Ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders. Strong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM tools Soft Skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, engaging enterprise clients, and positioning our AI-driven solutions across industries like Banking, Insurance, NBFC, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare and more. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities for AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and Computer Vision-based solutions in industries such as Banking, Insurance, NBFC, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer pain points to refine sales strategies. Provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement in AI/ML offerings. 4.Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with the product, marketing, and technical teams to align AI solutions with market needs. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates to senior management. Represent the company at AI conferences, trade shows, and industry events. Key Requirements Education & Experience Bachelors or masters degree in business, Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field. 3-6 years of experience in B2B sales, business development in AI/ML, Computer Vision, Cybersecurity or Data Analytics solutions. Technical & Sales Skills Strong understanding of AI/ML, deep learning, computer vision, and data analytics applications. Proven track record in selling AI-powered software solutions, SaaS, or enterprise AI products. Experience in selling to enterprise clients and mid-market organizations. Ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in sales processes, CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho), and pipeline management. Soft Skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong consultative sales approach to identify and address client challenges. Ability to work independently, drive results, and manage multiple accounts.
