Create and optimize mechanical systems, including pumps, blowers, and piping networks Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and layouts using CAD tools Conduct hydraulic and mechanical analyses to ensure efficient system performance Expertise in wastewater treatment equipment, including pumps, blowers, and piping systems Perform equipment sizing, pressure loss calculations, and energy efficiency assessments Supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical equipment Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring system reliability and minimal downtime Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated wastewater solutions Manage procurement, vendor coordination, and cost estimation for projects Ensure designs meet industry standards (ASME, ANSI) and environmental regulations Maintain accurate documentation and technical reports for regulatory compliance Implement preventative maintenance strategies and optimize system performance Identify and apply innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency Ensure designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards Technical co-ordination with all disciplines related to engineering effort Travel domestically and internationally, as required, frequency and duration of travel will depend on project needs Propose and implement sustainable and cost-effective solutions for clients Conduct reviews of engineering calculations, designs, and deliverables Ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements Knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies, including activated sludge, MBR, MBBR, SBR, A20, ASP, IFAS and advance treatment methods
