Workforce Planning & Forecasting Senior Analyst

As a Workforce Planning & Forecasting Senior Analyst at CommBank, your role will be crucial in contributing to the optimisation of workforces, enhancing customer experience, and enabling data-driven decision-making for business leaders. Your strong experience in data analysis, forecasting, and workforce planning will help in building and running a timely and accurate volume forecast. Key Responsibilities: - Source and transform data to support in building and running a timely and accurate volume forecast. - Provide actionable insights to optimize workforces, enhance customer experience, and enable data-driven decision-making for business leaders. - Assist in creating a flexible workforce to meet the changing needs and expectations of customers. - Utilize data and advanced analytics techniques to identify opportunities for innovation, workforce and process optimization, and continuous improvement. - Embed workforce planning practices in supported businesses and offer insights to facilitate data-driven decision-making. - Support the development of new analytical solutions and application of advanced techniques while continuously improving own capabilities. - Act as a trusted advisor to address and solve key business problems while adhering to the Code of Conduct standards. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of experience in predictive modelling, time series forecasting (ARIMA, STL, ETS), A/B testing, spatial analytics, and workforce optimization (linear programming). - Proficiency in quantitative activities such as scenario forecast modeling and workforce analytics to generate actionable insights from complex data. - Experience with large data sets and data analysis tools like SQL, SAS; Mandatory knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Python, and R. - Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience in computer science, statistics, mathematics, workforce planning, contact center, or related disciplines. - Knowledge of the Financial Services industry and/or Banking Operations would be highly regarded. - Hands-on experience with GenAI tools and techniques is an added advantage. - Education Qualification: Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
