Job Description

You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Benefits modules. You will be responsible for managing annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, bonuses, and equity grants within Workday. Additionally, you will support benefits enrollment cycles, including Open Enrollment, life event changes, and ACA compliance. Your role will involve configuring and maintaining Compensation & Benefits business processes, eligibility rules, and calculation formulas. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide end-user support and training for HR staff and managers on Compensation & Benefits functions in Workday. Collaborating with HR leadership, you will contribute to the design and implementation of new compensation structures or benefit programs. Data analysis, reporting, and audits will be conducted by you to ensure accuracy in compensation and benefits data. Furthermore, you will participate in Workday enhancement projects, upgrades, and testing, while also monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities for process improvement proactively. To be successful in this role, you must hold a Btech or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. You should have at least 6 years of experience in HRIS or HCM systems, with hands-on experience in Workday Compensation and Benefits. A strong understanding of HR processes and compliance related to compensation and benefits is essential, along with experience in managing compensation cycles and benefits enrollment processes within Workday. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are required. Preferred qualifications include Workday Pro Certification in Compensation and/or Benefits, experience with Advanced Compensation (e.g., Stock Plans, Bonus Plans), familiarity with EIBs, Workday Reports (custom, calculated fields), and basic security setup, as well as experience working in a global or multi-entity organization.
