WordPress Web Designer Intern

As an Intern at our Hyderabad location, you will be joining us for a 3-month duration in an unpaid capacity starting immediately on-site. Your primary role will involve designing and developing websites using WordPress. This includes creating themes and plugins, as well as customizing existing themes to align with project specifications. Additionally, you will be tasked with optimizing websites for speed, SEO, and performance, ensuring compatibility across various devices through responsive design practices. Collaboration with development and content teams will be essential in delivering top-notch projects, alongside the regular maintenance and updates of WordPress websites. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to WordPress functionality and design will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress, including its themes and plugins. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is crucial, while understanding responsive design principles is a must. Any experience with design tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe Photoshop will be considered a plus. A creative mindset, meticulous attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong willingness to learn are key traits we are looking for. Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines are also essential qualities for this position.
