WordPress Back-end Developer

As a WordPress Developer (Back End) with 3-4 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to develop custom WordPress coding from scratch based on design mock-ups and specifications. Your core work area will revolve around plugin development, customization, and WooCommerce. You will be tasked with creating and modifying custom post types and custom fields in WordPress to effectively organize and display content. Collaboration with designers and content creators will be essential to implement website designs and ensure a seamless user experience. Troubleshooting and debugging issues with existing WordPress websites, plugins, and themes will also be a part of your role. It is crucial to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and incorporate them into projects. Additionally, you will be expected to provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients when necessary. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development. A robust portfolio demonstrating custom theme and plugin development is required. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential, along with expertise in customizing and extending WordPress functionality using hooks, filters, and APIs. A solid understanding of WordPress core concepts such as custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields is a must. Experience with popular WordPress plugins like Woo-Commerce, Gutenberg, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) is highly desirable.
