As a skilled and passionate WordPress Web Developer, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development tasks to contribute to our team. Your role will involve designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing websites using modern web technologies while ensuring they are user-friendly and responsive. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing websites using WordPress, customizing themes and plugins as necessary, troubleshooting and fixing bugs, optimizing site speed and performance, and collaborating with content, design, and SEO teams. Additionally, you will be expected to work on maintaining and updating existing websites and setting up and managing WooCommerce for e-commerce sites. To excel in this role, you must possess a good knowledge of WordPress, be able to customize themes and utilize plugins effectively, have proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP, and be familiar with basic SEO practices. Experience working with WooCommerce, optimizing website speed, using Git, cPanel, and managing hosting are also essential skills required for this position. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, though equivalent experience will also be considered. Previous experience working on custom websites and CMS-based platforms, along with a portfolio showcasing past web development projects, will be advantageous.
