Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide safe shelter to animals in need, while also raising awareness about animal rights and responsible pet ownership . Role Description This is a full-time, on-site volunteer position based in Kolkata . As a Volunteer at the WOOF Foundation , you will play a key role in supporting our mission by: Assisting with the daily care and feeding of rescued animals. Providing basic medical care and support to injured or sick animals. Participating in adoption drives, awareness events, and community outreach programs . Assisting the team in fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns to support shelter operations and animal welfare projects. Engaging with the community through social media and local initiatives to spread awareness about animal rights and responsible pet ownership . Qualifications Deep compassion and empathy for animals. Prior experience with animal care or volunteering is an advantage. Ability to perform physical tasks related to shelter maintenance and animal handling. Strong communication and teamwork skills for outreach and campaign support. Knowledge of basic animal first aid or veterinary care is beneficial. Interest or background in marketing, fundraising, or crowdfunding is a plus. Educational background in veterinary science, animal welfare, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
