WLAN PHY Baseband(RTL) Digital Design Engineer -Sr Eng

As a VLSI Digital Design Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be a part of the Bangalore WLAN PHY (Baseband) team responsible for leading IP development for the latest WiFi standards. The team, consisting of passionate domain experts, has a strong track record of independently taking WLAN PHY designs from concept to silicon. You will work on developing end-to-end Tx/Rx DSP chains, specializing in signal processing functions like filters, matrix transformations, channel estimation, equalization, decoders/encoders, demodulators, and FFT to cater to new requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead IP development for the latest WiFi standards - Develop end-to-end Tx/Rx DSP chains for WLAN PHY designs - Work on signal processing functions like filters, matrix transformations, and equalization - Contribute to the development and enhancement of signal processing algorithms - Propose design alternatives to meet area/power/performance specifications - Present design options for review - Guide and mentor junior team members in IP development - Take IP designs from requirements to silicon successfully Qualifications Required: - 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in micro-architecting and developing complex IPs - Expertise in digital design and VLSI concepts - Experience in creating power/area-efficient IPs across multiple clock domains - Proficiency in RTL coding and RTL QA flows such as PLDRC, CDC, and CLP (optional) - Ability to propose design alternatives and present them for review - Experience in leading, guiding, or managing junior team members - Success in taking IP designs from requirements to silicon - Knowledge of wireless technologies or past HLS experience is beneficial If you are looking to be part of a team that is at the forefront of the WiFi revolution and aims to become a global leader in WiFi chip solutions, Qualcomm India Private Limited is the place for you.
