Winjit Technologies - Cypress Tester - Manual Testing

You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications using Cypress. Additionally, you will perform manual testing to identify and document bugs, issues, and defects. Collaboration with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design test scenarios will be a key aspect of this role. You will also be required to execute automated and manual test scripts, analyze results, report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Furthermore, maintaining and enhancing automated test suites to ensure comprehensive test coverage, performing regression testing, and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Cypress and manual testing. Proficiency in Cypress for automated testing, strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and methodologies, and experience with test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail are essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, attention to detail with a focus on quality, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in testing web applications in agile development environments, familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, and certification such as ISTQB or equivalent.,
