Electrical Application Engineer (Hybrid)
As an Electrical Application Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate, design, and optimize solar + wind hybrid power solutions for both on-grid net metering and off-grid applications. You will conduct feasibility studies, develop electrical designs, assess power electronics, and ensure the efficiency of hybrid renewable energy systems. Your expertise in solar panels, inverters, batteries, RMS, electronics, and electrical systems will be crucial in providing integrated solutions. Your key responsibilities will include conducting field studies to evaluate energy demand and resource availability, designing electrical systems integrating various components, assessing system efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will be required to design hybrid power systems compatible with both on-grid net metering and off-grid applications, select appropriate components, and implement remote monitoring systems for performance analysis. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing technical support during installation, and preparing system documentation will also be part of your role. Additionally, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possess strong technical knowledge in power electronics, inverters, battery storage, and RMS integration, and have proficiency in software tools like PVsyst, HOMER, AutoCAD, MATLAB, SCADA, or similar. Your analytical skills, industry standards knowledge, problem-solving ability, and communication skills will play a vital role in successfully executing projects.
