As an experienced Windows and VMware Administrator with 10-16 years of expertise, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows Server issues (2016, 2019). - Configure and manage Windows Server features such as DNS, DHCP, and File Sharing. - Implement Windows security measures including Group Policy and Firewall. - Manage Windows updates and patches. - Install and maintain multi-node clusters for Windows Clustering. - Design, implement, and manage AD infrastructure like domain controllers and replication. - Troubleshoot AD issues related to authentication and group policy. - Configure and manage AD services like DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services. - Implement AD security measures like password policies and access controls. - Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure including ESXi and vCenter. - Utilize vSphere with clustered storage and high availability capabilities such as vMotion, fault tolerance, and SRM. - Implement VMware security measures like VM encryption and firewall. - Troubleshoot VMware performance issues. - Configure and manage virtual machines (VMs) and templates. - Implement VM migration and cloning. - Manage VMware storage using VMFS and NFS. - Configure and manage VMware High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR). - Analyze logs from Event Viewer and VMware logs to identify root causes. - Utilize debugging tools like Wireshark and Process Explorer to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Qualifications Required: - 10-16 years of experience in Windows administration and VMware administration. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2019. - Experience in managing AD infrastructure and services. - Proficiency in VMware vSphere infrastructure management. - Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
