Spanish Transcriptionist

You will be responsible for converting audio/video content in Spanish to written text. This includes working with various types of content such as interviews, podcasts, and webinars. Your primary focus will be to ensure accuracy in transcriptions while understanding diverse Spanish accents and dialects. A strong knowledge of Spanish grammar, punctuation, and spelling is essential for this role. Confidentiality of transcribed materials must be maintained at all times, and meeting project deadlines is crucial. Previous transcription experience is preferred, as well as familiarity with transcription software. Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary to succeed in this position. You will be required to proofread and edit transcriptions as needed. We are looking for candidates with native or near-native Spanish proficiency. This is a remote position with flexible working hours and competitive compensation based on experience. The job type is contractual/temporary with a contract length of 3 months. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, and a total of 2 years of work experience, including 2 years of transcription and Spanish experience. The ability to commute or relocate to Chennai, Tamil Nadu is preferred.
