Role & responsibilities To lead and manage the service operations for commercial vehicles, JCBs, skid steers, and transport equipment with a strong technical focus on BS6 engine technology . The role requires supervising service teams, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs, achieving workshop efficiency, delivering customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with OEM standards and BS6 emission norms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Workshop & Field Service Operations Manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown repair of BS6 commercial vehicles, JCBs, skid steers, and transport equipment. Ensure diagnosis and resolution of BS6-related issues such as DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), AdBlue systems, and ECU-based controls. Oversee field service teams for on-site equipment and fleet support. 2. Team Leadership & Training Lead, guide, and mentor service engineers, technicians, and mechanics. Conduct training programs on BS6 engines, after-treatment systems, and advanced diagnostic tools. Drive a culture of continuous learning and adherence to OEM service practices. Operational & Financial Control Ensure availability and inventory management of BS6-critical parts (sensors, DPF units, AdBlue systems). Control costs while improving service efficiency and productivity. Generate additional service revenue through AMC, spare parts sales, and extended warranty services. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise in BS6 engines, emission control systems (DPF, SCR, AdBlue), ECU diagnostics . In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles, construction equipment (JCB, skid steer), and transport systems. Leadership and people management skills. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making ability. Coordinating with Team Members and Management Familiarity with diagnostic tools, service management systems (ERP/DMS).
