About the Company You will be a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products and processes. You will be involved in all aspects of quality management, from metrology and product certification to total quality management (TQM) and non-destructive testing (NDT). About the Role Principal Accountabilities Smooth functioning of NDT equipments under purview Keep status of consumable for all NDT stations & issue material from store. Ensuring timely shift wise calibration of NDT equipments and review the record. Follow the check points made for machine on regular basis & document it. Ensure the effective utilization of machines to get desired output from testing equipment without comprising with quality and safety of man and machine. Co-ordinate with shift manager in respective shift for resources and administrative issues. Prepare for Calibration & Documentation Reviewing of documents of all stations & summiting the final report to record room/NDT head. Co-ordinate with workshop for preparing calibration plate/sample and help changeover setting. Ensure all testing activities are performed as per approved work instruction & process chart Ensuring traceability of pipes/plates is maintained throughout the inspection process. Ensure all testing activities are being performed as per approved work instruction & process chart. Review of rework pipe report to ensure that pipe has been processed through intended stations. To work on continuous improvement plan to increase efficiency & quality from NDT stations Reporting any down time of any station to the shift Manager in respective shift. Continuous monitoring of process defects given by NDT and giving feedback to production/welding for taking immediate corrective action. Initiating corrective & preventive actions and closing NCR generated by quality control and maintain productivity with quality. Assist NDT head/QC head during customer visit, demonstration and customer enquiries. To follow Safety Norms during work Ensure general housekeeping in all NDT station's areas. Follow safe work practices. Ensure NDT equipments are set as per procedure and preventive maintenance of all NDT machine.
