Job Description – Finance Specialist Position: Finance Specialist Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Location: Vadodara Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to support the CFO in managing day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the company’s balance sheet, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, handling banking matters, and supporting other critical financial activities. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and update the company’s balance sheet on a regular basis. • Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers. • Handle bank-related work including payments, reconciliations, fund transfers, and correspondence with banking institutions. • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. • Support the CFO in cash flow management, forecasting, and financial planning. • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, audits, and internal controls. • Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making. • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders as required. • Handle other important financial and administrative tasks assigned by the CFO. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (Master’s / CA / CMA preferred). • Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, and banking operations. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, balance sheet management, and compliance requirements. • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent). • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines. • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
