Roles and Responsibilities

1) Responsible for the qualification of test coupons for welding procedure qualification and Welder performance qualification.

2) Check out the Welding procedure specification and program the parameters to control the cladding operations.

3) To interpret part DBI, drawing, work instructions and update welding log and production documents on daily basis.

4) Follow up daily production schedule to ensure the deliveries to meet the customer requirement.

5) Able to preheat the parts before welding/cladding as per the Welding procedure specification.

6) Monitor & control the weld overlay during the cladding of Bore to Bore, Cross Bore, Bore ID, Bore face, seat pockets and Ring grooves etc.

7) To maintain log register for the welding parameters used during the production.

8) Identify the weld defect using the NDT procedure and able to rework / repair to eliminate the defects.

9) To maintain register for the consumable usages like Filler wire, tungsten Electrode, gas etc.

10) Responsible for maintaining all the welding accessories in proper working condition.

11) The Welders should check the machine condition, validity of the machine, calibration and electrical connections every time before they start the job.

12) Update daily check list for the cladding machine and its equipments.

candidates should stayed at coimbatore or who has interest to relocate to coimbatore ( Tamil nadu candidates only .

Requirement: (6G welder & GTAW ETR or Conventional Cladding Machine Operator)

Cladding operator / Welder shall have more than 5 years of experience in overlaying the API 6A Wellhead Equipments such as GV Bodies, GV Bonnets etc., shall have knowledge to understand the Welding procedure specification and able to program the welding parameters in-order to produce sound weld. Operator must have experience in handling the Endless Torch Rotation / Conventional cladding machines. Additionally shall have experience in GTAW/SMAW process qualified to 6G welding as per ASME Sec.IX requirement.
