Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes as per project requirements. Write clean, secure, and well-documented code using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery . Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and responsiveness. Optimize performance, loading speed, and scalability of WordPress-based websites. Integrate and troubleshoot third-party APIs and WordPress plugins. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA testers to deliver seamless user experiences. Stay current with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices . Key Skills & Requirements Strong understanding of WordPress core , themes, and plugin architecture. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery . Hands-on experience with custom plugin development and plugin customization. Familiarity with WordPress hooks, actions, filters , and shortcodes. Basic knowledge of MySQL and WordPress database structure. Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations . Exposure to Git or other version control systems is a plus.
