WebSphere Commerce Server Consultant

As a candidate with 5 to 12 years of total experience and 3+ years in WebSphere Commerce (WCS), you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing solutions in an ecosystem that includes Extended sites model involving B2B and B2C business models. Your role will involve working with an agile team on backlog grooming and defining technical tasks for stories. Anticipating issues and risks at the module level and escalating them appropriately will be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Design, plan, and implement solutions in an ecosystem involving Extended sites model with B2B and B2C business models. - Collaborate with the agile team on backlog grooming and defining technical tasks for stories. - Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate them as needed. - Interact with the product owner and scrum master to propose out-of-the-box capabilities and possible framework extensions. - Demonstrate leadership communication and the ability to work effectively with staff at different levels. - Translate complex technical solutions into understandable terms for audiences with varying technical expertise. - Prepare and present technical documentation effectively. - Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders at different staff levels. - Understand and communicate risk assessment effectively. Qualifications Required: - Strong design and implementation experience in WebSphere Commerce V8.X and V9.X. - Deep understanding of WebSphere Commerce application architecture and the ability to make sound design decisions. - Experience in exposing REST APIs for Commerce capabilities. - Proficiency in integrating, designing, and developing custom solutions within WebSphere Commerce. - Hands-on experience with various subsystems of WebSphere Commerce Server. - Experience working on different business models of commerce (B2B, B2C, Extended sites). - Strong Java development skills. - Hands-on experience with at least 2 end-to-end WCS implementations. - Technical leadership skills for managing work tracks and defining comprehensive solutions. - Ability to abstract details into repeatable patterns and familiarity with user-centered analysis techniques. - Experience with organization structures, LDAP integrations, user, and account management for B2B and B2C scenarios.
