Web Professor

We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify & WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining eCommerce and business websites using Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce . You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create fast, secure, user-friendly websites that drive conversions and deliver great user experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Development Build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores (Liquid, sections, themes). Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing templates. Set up Shopify apps, payment gateways, and third-party integrations. Optimize site performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness. Implement advanced product features, filters, and custom checkout flows. WordPress Development Build and customize websites using WordPress (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.). Develop custom themes or child themes as needed. Setup and manage WooCommerce stores, plugins, and integrations. Ensure site security, backups, and regular updates. Optimize site speed, SEO structure, and usability. General Responsibilities Collaborate with designers to convert Figma/PSD designs into functional websites. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues. Manage hosting, DNS, domain setups, and migrations. Ensure all websites are fully responsive and cross-browser compatible. Follow best practices for clean code, performance, and security. Required Skills & Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in Shopify and WordPress development . Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Liquid, and PHP . Experience with Shopify theme development and customization. Experience with WordPress theme & plugin customization . Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi , etc. Understanding of SEO best practices for website structure. Ability to integrate third-party APIs and apps. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Plus Points (Preferred) Experience with Shopify Plus . Knowledge of React, Vue, or Headless Shopify . Experience with automation, CRO, or Shopify custom apps. Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Klaviyo, etc.).
