As a Web Developer at Shamoor Media Group in Gurugram, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications and websites. Working closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers, you will collaborate to create cohesive web solutions that meet business requirements. Your role will involve leading technical discussions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and maintainability through code reviews. You will be expected to convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural plans, identifying and implementing performance improvements across frontend and backend components. To excel in this position, you should be proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Strong development skills using Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, or .NET are essential, along with experience in building RESTful APIs. A solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, version control tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is also required. As an eligible candidate, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, modern CMS frameworks, advanced WordPress development, and project management tools will be advantageous. Active participation in open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile demonstrating coding expertise is a plus. This is a full-time position with a work schedule from Monday to Saturday, with alternate Saturdays off, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The role is based in Gurugram and requires in-person work.
