Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Maintenance

• Update WordPress plugins, themes, and Shopify apps.
• Ensure security via SSL, firewalls, and malware scans.
• Perform regular backups and ensure uptime.

2. Speed & Performance Optimization

• Optimize code, images, and databases for faster load times.
• Implement CDN, caching, and other performance tools.
• Conduct monthly performance audits.

3. Checkout & Payment Gateway

• Maintain smooth checkout flow.
• Add new payment methods (UPI, wallets, etc.).
• Implement UX improvements to reduce cart abandonment.

4. Custom Coding & Integrations Knowledge

• Integrate plugins and should have knowledge of Shopify Liquid templates.
• Integrate APIs (Zoho CRM, WhatsApp bot, GA4, logistics).
• Implement tracking codes for marketing campaigns.

5. Domain & Hosting

• Manage domains, renewals, and DNS settings.
• Handle hosting/server management (cPanel/Cloud).
• Monitor uptime, troubleshoot server issues, and manage bandwidth.

6. Collaboration

• Work with the marketing team for landing pages & tracking.
• Support automation & AI features for business growth.
• Provide documentation and regular reports.

Performance Targets (KPIs)

• Website Speed

  : Page Speed score 85/100 (mobile & desktop), load time 3s.

• Uptime & Reliability

  : 99.5% uptime, resolve issues within 24 hours.

• Checkout Success

  : 2% checkout failure, 1 UX improvement per quarter.

• Security

  : Zero breaches, SSL & plugin updates within 7 days.

• Automation & Integrations

  : Deliver projects within deadlines, ensure smooth CRM/marketing tool integration.

• Reporting

  : Monthly performance report + documentation.

Required Skills

• WordPress (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Shopify Liquid customization.
• API integration (Zoho CRM, Payments, Logistics, WhatsApp Bot).
• Website speed optimization (GTMetrix, PageSpeed, CDN setup).
• Hosting management (cPanel, cloud servers, DNS, SSL).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving ability.
