Web Developer Intern (Full Stack - MERN)

You are an enthusiastic and skilled MERN Stack Web Developer Intern who is passionate about building web applications from scratch. You have worked on at least 12 real-time projects (personal or academic) using the MERN stack, showcasing hands-on development knowledge. This is a great opportunity for you to work closely with an experienced development team, understand client requirements, and build scalable, production-grade applications in a startup environment. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will build responsive and dynamic frontends using React and Tailwind CSS/Bootstrap. Designing REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend efficiently is also a key part of your role. Collaborating with team members using Git and project management tools (like Trello/Jira), working with authentication (JWT, OAuth), and role-based access controls are essential tasks. You will be expected to debug issues, write clean code, and maintain proper documentation. To be eligible for this position, you must be based in Chennai and available for a full-time, on-site internship. Your hands-on experience should include React.js and Next.js (building components, routing, etc.), MongoDB (performing CRUD operations, basic schema design), and REST API integration (using tools like Postman or Axios). It would be a bonus if you have worked with Redux for state management, backend routing with Node.js and Express.js, and have built at least one real-time project (personal, academic, or freelance) using the MERN/Next.js stack. You should have a strong interest in learning, building, and debugging full-stack applications. A good understanding of Git, basic terminal commands, and general development workflows is expected. Being self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a good team player is also important. This is a paid internship with a monthly stipend of 5,000.
