As a Web Developer (Backend Developer) at Amura Marketing in Pune, you will be part of a tech team responsible for all aspects of software development. You will work on projects from the initial specification to testing and launching. Your key responsibilities will include: - Discussing project goals with clients and development teams. - Designing and building web applications using WordPress, Laravel, PHP, jQuery, and javascript-based frameworks like VueJS. - Troubleshooting issues, working with front-end and back-end developers. - Testing functionality, ensuring smooth integrations, and scaling projects based on feedback. - Recording work done in WordPress/Laravel, maintaining web-based applications. - Assisting with website deployment on platforms like Godaddy or AWS EC2 ubuntu instance. - Presenting your work in meetings with clients and management. To excel in this role, you should have: - 1-2 years of experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST. - A solid understanding of application design using PHP, WordPress, Laravel 8. - Knowledge of database design and querying using MySQL, PostGres, CRUD operations in RDBMS using MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, OOP, MVC architecture, DevOps version control/continuous integration tools like GIT/GitHub/bitbucket, Unix/Linux. - Problem-solving skills, a critical mindset. - Passion for building quality products on the web, comfortable with agile working, fast code shipment, and releasing new versions quickly based on client feedback. - Attention to detail, a keen eye for style, pixel-perfect implementation on all browsers, and a focus on performance debugging and benchmarking. Additional skills in: - API development for mobile applications. - E-commerce website development using platforms like woo-commerce, shopify. - Provisioning servers for deployment, SSL certificate configuration. - Knowledge of javascript frameworks like VueJS(Nuxt), ReactJS(Next).
