As a web designer with 2-5 years of experience, your role will involve envisioning and creating compelling and responsive cross-platform websites, mobile applications, and digital interfaces optimized for various screen sizes and operating systems. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop user personas, create visual collaterals for social platforms, and design content strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Make functional graphics, digital proofs, UI/UX designs, and visual concepts that attract and inspire users. - Collaborate with product managers to create and implement design plans aligned with the company's product vision. - Assist in creating style guides and working with other designers to meet client requirements. - Support the marketing team by developing visual assets for landing pages, websites, advertisements, brochures, flyers, and catalogues. - Build user-friendly wireframes, websites, and mock-ups that are visually appealing and persuasive. - Design aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly graphics for the company's website. - Create responsive templates for various devices and implement website layouts, logos, and branding in line with brand values and target audience. - Develop and execute a cohesive visual brand strategy for the company's website, blog, and social media channels. - Stay updated on the latest industry trends and updates in website design. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience as a junior web designer or graphic designer. - Demonstrable portfolio and expertise in previous web design projects. - Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Sketch. - Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout design, and usability principles, particularly for websites. - Creative thinker with excellent visual communication skills, design multimedia skills, and computer adeptness. - Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design. - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field. - Knowledge of website development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with content management systems like WordPress and responsive design principles. - Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. - Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and usability. - Collaboration with back-end developers to ensure synchronization of User Interfaces with APIs. - Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimization for mobile devices.
