Web Designer (Creative)

You will be responsible for the following key areas: Role Overview: FAB Web Studio, with expertise in web development focusing on Magento and Drupal, is seeking a talented Web Designer to join their team. You will be tasked with creating visually appealing website layouts, developing wireframes and prototypes, ensuring design consistency, optimizing designs for user experience, collaborating with web developers and marketing teams, and troubleshooting design issues to enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Create visually appealing website layouts that are responsive and accessible across devices. - Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Adobe XD and Figma. - Ensure design consistency by following brand guidelines. - Optimize designs for intuitive navigation and user-friendly interfaces. - Conduct user research and usability tests to refine designs. - Collaborate with web developers for seamless design implementation. - Coordinate with marketing and content teams to align designs with campaign goals. - Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. - Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO. - Use graphic design software to create visuals, banners, and other website assets. - Identify and resolve design issues to improve user experience. - Test website functionality and resolve compatibility issues across browsers and devices. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role. - Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma. - Basic knowledge of front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. - Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify. - Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Strong attention to detail and creativity. - Excellent communication and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Please note that this is a full-time position with the benefit of working from home. The work schedule is a day shift from Monday to Friday with a performance bonus.
