Wealth Management - IPB Tax - Team Leader

As a strategic thinker with a passion for driving solutions in Tax operations, you have the opportunity to join the Wealth Management - IPB Tax team as a Team Leader. Your primary responsibility will be to reconcile the banking system with the tax system to produce UK/Indonesia/France/German Tax Reporting. Additionally, you will handle US Tax Withholding for non-resident alien clients with US source income, focusing on ensuring the timely and accurate issuance of US reports 1042/1099. Your role will also involve applying your knowledge of financial securities, corporate actions, and tax reporting while staying updated on new tax laws. Responsibilities: - Perform reconciliation between the banking system and tax system for tax reports/gain/loss statements with limited supervision. - Review transaction feeds across product/security types and handle tax withholding review and remittance to tax authorities for markets like the US, Germany, and Sweden. - Coordinate with various upstream operations teams for transaction corrections and interpret corporate events and fund-related movements. - Ascertain tax codes for US securities, meet service level standards, and analyze transactional activity from a tax implication perspective. - Learn and adapt to new types of tax laws, communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, work under pressure, and collaborate as a team player. - Maintain KPI, SOP, and other MIS, ensure accuracy and attention to detail, and utilize MS Office products. Qualifications: - Demonstrate knowledge of financial securities. - Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of corporate actions and security transfers. - Understanding of tax and gain/loss reporting.,
