Join our Digital Accessibility Team at JPMorgan Chase to contribute to the transformation and development of inclusive digital experiences. As a PDF Senior Accessibility Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our PDF documents adhere to the highest accessibility standards, thus making the content inclusive for all individuals, including those with disabilities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and developers to guarantee compliance with various accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1, PDF/UA, ADA, Section 508, and other relevant regulations. Your key responsibilities will include evaluating and remediating PDF documents to meet accessibility standards like WCAG 2.1 and Section 508. You will also be tasked with reviewing and modifying forms within PDFs to enhance accessibility, encompassing labels and error messages. Thorough testing using assistive technologies will be essential to verify accessibility compliance. Collaborating with stakeholders to address accessibility issues and implement best practices will also be a crucial part of your role. It is imperative to stay updated with the ever-evolving accessibility guidelines and technologies, while maintaining records and documentation of the remediation process. Moreover, providing training and support on creating accessible PDF documents and monitoring compliance with evolving accessibility standards will be integral components of your responsibilities. The qualifications, capabilities, and skills required for this role include having 5+ years of experience in PDF review and remediation, expertise in detecting and remediating accessibility issues using tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro, familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1/2.2 & PDF/UA, experience in utilizing screen reading software like JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, basic knowledge of HTML, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills for effective collaboration on accessibility requirements, and the ability to work with a sense of urgency. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills for this role include familiarity with testing tools like PAC and Color Contrast Analyzer.,
