Water Resources Engineer 6

As a Senior Engineer/hydraulic modeler at CDM Smith, you will be involved in contributing to gravity and pressurized network projects in the Middle East. Key Responsibilities: - Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for Storm/Water and Sewer systems. - Conduct related calculations and analyze hydraulic models to optimize stormwater and sewerage scheme options. - Collaborate with the CAD team, review drawings for design details, and ensure coordination between utilities and structures. - Utilize software such as InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, and HEC-RAS for project requirements. - Have a strong understanding of hydrology and create sustainable solutions. - Familiarity with Middle East Standards, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar, is preferred. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or a related field. - Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in software such as InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, and HEC-RAS. - Knowledge of GIS is considered an added qualification. - Strong written and verbal English communication skills. - Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally based on project demands.
