Warehouse Operator - Level II

Role Overview: As a Warehouse Associate at Cummins Inc., you will play a crucial role in receiving, handling, storing, performing system transactions, and dispatching goods in a factory or warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies, sorting, labeling, storing goods, optimizing warehouse space, picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods according to requests or orders. Key Responsibilities: - Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): - Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately - Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations - Use appropriate personal protective equipment - Correct hazards within your control - Engage in HSE Training - Quality: - Follow standard work and established quality procedures - Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures - Perform quality checks for discrepancies - Identify and control non-conforming material - Delivery: - Receive incoming goods, sort, label/package, and store goods - Operate equipment to pick, pack, and ship products - Maintain competency in core work skills - Teamwork: - Communicate effectively with the team and support teams - Complete training in line with business requirements - Participate actively in improving quality, safety, and processes - Maintain a clean work area and perform routine tasks Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent experience - Some work experience or intermediate level knowledge - Experience in executing shift plans, ensuring safety, health, and environment compliance, managing inventory levels, establishing 5s, leading warehouse operations, and implementing continuous improvements - Familiarity with warehouse operations, PIV, SOPs, and operational process standardization,
