Ward girl , Ward Boy

The Ward Boy/Ward Girl is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting patients in daily activities, and supporting nursing staff in providing quality patient care within the hospital ward.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assistance:

Help patients with movement, bathing, feeding, and dressing.

Assist in shifting patients from bed to wheelchair, stretcher, or operation theatre.

Support elderly, disabled, or post-operative patients with daily needs.

Ward Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient wards, beds, and washrooms.

Change bed sheets, pillow covers, and keep the ward organized.

Dispose of waste properly following hospital protocols.

Support to Medical Staff:

Assist nurses and doctors during patient care procedures.

Carry medical equipment, samples, or reports as needed.

Deliver medicines or patient files to the concerned departments.

Patient Transport & Movement:

Transport patients within the hospital (for tests, X-rays, operations, etc.).

Ensure patient safety during movement and transfers.

General Duties:

Bring and serve food, water, and other essentials to patients.

Maintain discipline and comfort in the ward area.

Report any unusual behavior or emergency to the nurse or incharge immediately.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 10th pass (preferred).

Basic understanding of hygiene and patient handling.

Polite, responsible, and physically fit.

Prior hospital experience preferred.

Working Hours:

As per hospital shift duty (Morning / Evening / Night).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
