WANTED SECURITY OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the duties of all security staff across shifts to ensure round-the-clock security coverage.
• Maintain the safety and security of patients, visitors, hospital personnel, and property within the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit of visitors, patients, vendors, and vehicles as per hospital policy.
• Ensure that all security posts are manned and that guards maintain proper discipline and appearance.
• Conduct regular security rounds to detect and prevent thefts, fire hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Oversee the functioning of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems; promptly report any malfunction.
• Control traffic movement and parking within the hospital premises to ensure smooth access for ambulances and emergency vehicles.
• Handle crowd control and ensure orderliness during peak hours, visiting hours, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with police, fire, and emergency services in case of any incidents or emergencies.
• Investigate incidents such as theft, loss, or disturbances and prepare detailed reports.
• Train and brief security personnel on hospital security procedures, emergency response, fire safety, and first aid.
• Ensure compliance with hospital rules, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols.
• Assist in managing patient attendants and visitors to maintain discipline in sensitive areas (ICU, OT, etc.).
• Support management during VIP visits and emergency drills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass (Graduation preferred).
• Experience: 5–10 years in hospital or institutional security management.
• Preference: Ex-servicemen (Army / Defence background preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team coordination
• Knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and emergency procedures
• Effective communication and incident reporting skills
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and surveillance systems
