To strengthen our team in Asia , we are looking for you as Head of HR Asia (f/m/d) located in India, Mumbai/Pune Area. This function is responsible for overseeing and coordinating HR operations and strategies across our Asian activities (excluding China) and managing our HR Hub in Asia. Responsibilties: Lead human resources function for WACKER Asia incl. recruiting, talent development, compensation & benefits as well as union relations in close collaboration with the respective country HR functions. Foster a strong, inclusive, and diverse company culture across different countries and build a supportive and collaborative HR team in Asia. Develop and implement HR strategies and processes aligned with global and regional business goals as well as group HR. Serve as a key advisor on HR matters, e.g. workforce & succession planning, talent strategies, and exchange regional voice with HQ. Ensure effective and efficient local HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws while maintaining consistency with global policies (HR governance). Develop and implement leadership and employee development programs in alignment with global CoEs. Handle employee relations and resolve workforce issues in collaboration with legal and business leaders. Qualifications: University degree in business administration and/or multiple years HR experience plus minimum 5 yrs in a leadership role and experience in a multinational company in Asia. Strong Business acumen and operational knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, coaching, presentation, listening and negotiation as well as networking and influencing. Digital affinity and experience in process optimization. Willingness to travel to Germany and across countries in Asia. Fluent in English. What do we offer?
