We’re Hiring: Electrical CAD Designer – EHV Substation & Switchyard Design Are you driven by precision, innovation, and excellence in electrical design? Voltek Power Solutions Private Limited , part of The Sai Group of Companies , is inviting talented professionals to join our growing team as an Electrical CAD Designer . In this role, you will contribute to the design and execution of cutting-edge Extra High Voltage (EHV) Substation and Switchyard Projects . 📍 Location: Navsari, Gujarat 🧾 Experience: Electrical CAD Design for EHV Substations/Switchyards 🎓 Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Key Responsibilities Develop detailed electrical CAD drawings for EHV substations and switchyards (up to 400 kV). Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) , layout drawings , General Arrangements (GAs) , earthing and lighting layouts , control and protection schematics , and cable schedules . Support and perform electrical design calculations as required. Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy, quality, and compliance with relevant IEC/IS standards . Maintain and manage drawing databases, ensure revision control, and assist with as-built documentation . Required Skills & Competencies Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) for electrical design applications. Strong understanding of electrical design principles , layout practices , and calculation methodologies . Familiarity with substation and switchyard layouts , protection and control schemes , and cable routing . Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills . Ability to work independently and in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams. Why Join Us?
