About the Role

VoIP Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Execute
VoIP testing and call flow validation
for real-time communication systems.
Perform
performance and load testing
on voice and video systems to ensure reliability and scalability.
Develop and maintain
test automation scripts
using Python or Bash.
Use
SIPp test tools
to validate call handling, SIP signaling, and media quality.
Document test plans, test cases, and results for internal teams.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Must-Have Skills

Strong knowledge of
VoIP testing and call flow validation
.
Experience with
performance testing for real-time communications
.
Proficiency in
Python or Bash scripting
for automation.
Hands-on experience with
SIPp test tools
.
Background in
load testing for voice/video systems
.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with
PJSIP framework
.
Familiarity with
Selenium
or similar UI automation tools.
Exposure to
JMeter
or similar performance testing tools.
Knowledge of
video quality testing
methods (e.g., MOS scores).
