You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing automation scripts using Python and Bash. Your role will involve understanding cloud infrastructure using VMware and OpenStack, as well as designing and executing stability, capacity, and robustness test plans to assess software performance under different conditions. You will analyze test results and offer actionable insights to development teams to enhance performance. Collaboration with developers and product teams will be essential to grasp application requirements and define performance criteria. You will also develop and manage automated test scripts for performance testing, monitor application performance in production, and identify areas for enhancement. Documenting testing processes, results, and findings clearly and comprehensively will be a key part of your responsibilities. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance and robustness testing will be crucial. Additionally, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs), including deployment, scaling, upgrading, and retirement.
