Job Description

Designation: VMware Engineer

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities:

2 - 3 years of experience
in VMware, MS-exchange with basic understanding of SAN and NAS.
Strong knowledge on Implement, Configure & Manage virtualisation, cloud technologies and Monitoring tools.
Hands on delivery in a client facing environment and production environment in remote as well as physical data support infrastructure models.
Responsible for VMware ESX Implementation, Configuration, Management and Troubleshooting.
Must have experience in VMware Guests, Templates, Capacity Planner, P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center.
Intermediate knowledge of Switching and VLAN. Hands on experience working on VMware sphere 5.0 & 5.5 administration skills, SRM, VMotion etc.
Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual Machines and Virtual Servers.
Certifications in VMware & Data centre will be added advantage.
Graduate / under-graduate (Engineer) required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. Ability to put requirements into operational scenarios and communicate effectively with management and customers.
