VMC Programmer

**Job Description:** As a VMC programmer, your main responsibility will be to create CNC programs for VMC machines in order to manufacture parts based on technical drawings and specifications. This involves selecting the appropriate cutting tools, specifying cutting parameters, and generating machine instructions for each operation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand part geometry, dimensions, and tolerances. - Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop CNC programs for VMC machines, considering machine capabilities and selecting optimal tool paths. - Debug and troubleshoot programs to ensure efficient operation and high-quality part production. - Adhere to strict safety standards while programming VMC machines, identifying and mitigating potential hazards. - Collaborate effectively with team members such as operators, engineers, and technicians to optimize programs for machine efficiency and part specifications. **Qualifications Required:** - 1 year of experience in programming (Preferred) - 1 year of total work experience (Preferred) **Additional Details:** The job type for this position is full-time.
