We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator to operate and set up Vertical Machining Centers to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires sound knowledge of machining practices, tool setting, measurement instruments, and adherence to safety and productivity norms.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up VMC machines as per job requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
Perform job setting, tool loading, tool offsets, work offsets, and fixture clamping.
Monitor machining process and make necessary adjustments to achieve dimensional accuracy.
Inspect components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.).
Maintain production and inspection records.
Perform basic troubleshooting during machining operations.
Carry out routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of the machine.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in VMC machine operation (Fresher with strong technical skills may be considered).
Good knowledge of machining parameters, cutting tools, and fixture setting.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection methods.
Basic knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / other controls) preferred.
Willingness to work in shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
