VMC Operator

As a VMC Operator, you will be responsible for working with computer numeric control (CNC) machines to cut, shape, and form metal parts based on engineering blueprints and specifications. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials, setting up machines, adjusting machine tools, performing quality checks, and ensuring a smooth production flow. Your main tasks will involve operating and monitoring VMC machines to produce metal parts according to specifications, loading and unloading materials onto the machines, setting up and adjusting machine tools as necessary, and performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting on machines. You will also be required to inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to safety and quality standards. To excel in this role, you should have previous experience as a VMC Operator, CNC Operator, or similar role. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, the ability to operate and program VMC machines, and strong attention to detail and precision are essential. Good mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently and in a team, excellent problem-solving skills, and basic computer skills are also required. Additionally, experience with CNC programming, a good understanding of machining techniques, and proficiency in operating VMC machines are desired skills.
