VMC Machine Operator

We are seeking a fresher or semi skilled VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC vertical machining centers, understanding technical drawings, learn CNC & VMC programe, have knowledge in boring cycle, Angle drilling & single point threading and maintaining quality standards in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor VMC machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and programs as required.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings and programs to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresher/Experience (2+ years) operating VMC machines.
• Knowledge of G-code, M-code and CNC programming (basic understanding).
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurement tools.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FANUC controller type.
• Familiarity with tooling and fixture setup.
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software (optional).
